Kol Bonaich is vital in tackling the significant social problems afflicting the UK.
About Kol Bonaich
Kol Bonaich is dedicated to supporting children and young people who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), such as abuse, neglect, household dysfunction, and community stressors like violence or homelessness.
These adversities often lead to long-term physical, emotional, and mental health challenges, as well as increased risk of harmful behaviors and joining anti-social gangs. Kol Bonaich targets these vulnerable individuals by providing holistic, trauma-informed interventions designed to foster healing, resilience, and empowerment. Through tailored programs that include education, job guidance, life skills training, and creative activities like art and drama, we help young people rebuild self-worth and envision brighter futures.
Our inclusive community ensures every child feels valued and supported, while our long-term commitment addresses both immediate needs and systemic barriers. With your funding, we can expand our services to reach more at-risk youth and create lasting change in their lives.

Kol Bonaich History
Amir’s Story
A homeless boy, Amir, found hope when Rabbi Osher Schapiro noticed his potential and helped him transform his life. This moment sparked the idea for Kol Bonaich.
The Mission
Kol Bonaich’s Purpose
To nurture vulnerable children and teens, helping them discover their potential through education, art, and emotional support.
Rabbi Osher Schapiro’s Vision
Rabbi Schapiro, who faced adversity in his own childhood, saw every struggling child as an "uncut diamond" with hidden brilliance. He wanted to create a space where these children could thrive.

The Transformation
Vulnerability to Success
Children, like Amir, find refuge and opportunities to express themselves, learn, and grow at Kol Bonaich.
Every success story is a testament to the power of support and guidance.
The Legacy
A Beacon of Hope
Kol Bonaich has become a place where children transform from "rough stones" into "polished diamonds," symbolizing resilience, talent, and self-worth.
